Barracuda and Shark Fishing In Key West

Report Date: January 4, 2004

Barracuda and Shark everywhere what more could I say. It winter and with numerous back to back cold front our water temperature has be below 70 degrees for quite some time. This puts a kibosh on the Tarpon and The Bonefish, however, it sets up for some great Barracuda fishing as long as you can keep the Shark away long enough to get your prize Cuda to the boat. Hey the Permit are still around, not as easily found, however, with a little work we?ll find em. Keep in mind its early in January so our weather is unpredictable. This could be good or bad luck depending on when we fish. But I can tell you one thing; the fishing is going to be a blast!
