March fishing key west

Hard to believe that March is here, and the weather is just now warming up to the 80's.
This had been a record cold winter for us in the Keys. However, the good news: winter is almost over and spring is here.
I found some tarpon yesterday while on a charterer. We had no luck hooking up, but always a good to see those tarpon.
The barracuda fishing was super. I think we boated six, had many, many more on, and must have cast at 40 or more fish.
Watching the water temp. climb up to 73 degrees I anticipate large numbers of permit on the flats very soon.
The fishing is getting better each day, as the weather warms up.
