August fishing with Buckeye buddy.

The first two weeks of fishing in August have been good. I was fortune enough to a few days fishing with a good Pal of mine from Columbus, Ohio. Jacob, who is and avid fisherman... I would even say Jacob at this point is starting to favor flats fishing in Key West, Fl, more than freshwater fishing... This past trip he managed to catch two Lemon Sharks a Black Tip Shark, and Two Tarpon. I think he hooked a few more sharks then he landed and he actually went two for three on Tarpon which is fantastic. Considering the average catch percentage when Tarpon fishing is 25% or less when it comes to the amount of fish hooked and actually landed. We had seen lots of Bonefish, however, never had too many great opportunities. So better luck next year on the Bones... Great fishing Dude!
